Distance Education anytime, anywhere in flexible mode at door step for Men & Women along with open and virtual learning

VIRTUAL CAMPUS (VC) (Based on NME-ICT, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India)

The University is member of the National Mission on Education through ICT (NME-ICT), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India and has established the Virtual Campus for Virtual Education System with an objective of providing the Distance Education Programs, Skill Enhancement Programs, Tailored Programs, Vocational & Value Added Programs, anytime, anywhere in flexible mode at door step for men & women along with open and virtual learning. The University, facilitated by the Mission of the NME-ICT, Govt. of India, has been developing the Local Communication Centre (LCC) with the collaboration of other institutions as per clause in subsection (i) & (m) of section-5 & Schedule II of the Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University, Jaipur Act No. 17 of 2008, at literacy wise backward remote areas and major cities. This way the learners of distance education and parents of the regular students would be benefitted through ICT for information & communication facilities and they may also be enabled to switch over their disciplines by accumulating knowledge or may also enhance their career by upgrading the qualification.

DIRECTORATE OF DISTANCE EDUCATION (DDE)

The Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University, Jaipur has been established by an Act of State Government in 2008, is one of the leading University in the World with knowledge and capabilities in the area of the Community Development based Education with a mission to provide "EDUCATION FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT leading to women empowerment and awareness of Women Rights and Law to all the people". To achieve its mission, the University has included the courses on Women Rights & Laws in its curriculum which is compulsory for all programs of university just to make the society enlightened for the cause of women.

The University has established the Faculty, Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) which is recognized by Distance Education Council & tripartite Committee of UGC, AICTE & DEC for running the courses in Distance Education mode.
